DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORTS
The Department of Physical Education and Sports was started in 1930. It was started with Five Faculty members i.e., Four Men faculty and One Women faculty.
Sir H.C. Buck was visited the Department of Physical Education and sports in the year 1932. He framed the Rules and Regulation of the Games and Sports and also father of the Physical Education.
There was a marked advancement in the field of Games and Sports during 1930 to till today. Number of Sports persons to produced from the Physical Education and they are got the Jobs from Sports Quota and well positions in the Country.
This College is spread in an area of 28 acres and the Department of Physical Education and Sports has Indoor Badminton Courts 2, Indoor Kabaddi Court with matting 1, Basket ball (Cement) Court 1, Out door Kabaddi Courts 2, Kho- Kho field 1, Volley ball courts 2, Hand ball court 1 and Malty purpose Out door stadium – 400 Mts Track & Fields, Hockey, Foot ball and Cricket fields would like to train the Students for Inter-University and National level competitions.
