About Women Empowerment Committee

VISION & MISSION

• To promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching lady staff of the College and to maintain a dignified congenial environment for women and enable them to explore their potential in all aspects.
• To train women to acquire wide range of skills and knowledge and to develop and increase their economic and intellectual capacities for security and prosperity.

OBJECTIVES

• Identification of leadership, change-makers among women and girls
• Organising programs for girls to make them to be financially, mentally and emotionally empowered to promote their growth as individuals in their own .
• Arranging seminars on the economic, social, and legal rights provided and schemes implementing by the Governments for the well being and empowerment of women.
• Organizing different activities to make women aware of their health, hygiene and self defense
• Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic talents for innovative and creative thinking Maintaining grievances and redressal

There is no specific cell as such with the name of prevention of sexual harassment. However there is anti-ragging committee, Women students’ welfare committee and grievance redressal cell are working in the college. Hither to no case of such harassments in the college.

Efforts to provide legal literacy to women:

• Womens’ cell of the college enlightens the women students about legal rights of women.
• It works towards various aspects of women empowerment.
• Awareness programme for conducted on legal literacy to women as the girl students mostly hail from surrounding villages.
