Computer Applications

Vision:

To impart quality education in theoretical and practical areas of Computer applications by effective Teaching-Learning process and to train the students with latest advancements and Computer Ethics   and transform the students as potential resources contributing to the economy.

Mission:

• To bridge the gap between industry and academia by framing curricula and syllabi based on industrial and societal needs.
• To equip students with enriched skill set through advanced learning tools, collaborative and interdisciplinary activities.
• To inculcate problem solving and team building skills and promote lifelong learning with a sense of social and ethical responsibility.

PSO's

PSO 1: Students will improve their computer literacy, their basic understanding of operative systems and a working knowledge of software commonly used in academic and professional environments

PSO 2: Students will learn to organize information efficiently in the forms of outlines, charts , etc. using appropriate software.

PSO 3: Students will acquire skills for designing and delivering an effective presentation and developing the various IT skills to electronic databases.

PSO 4: Students will be able to design and implement a webpage.

PSO 5: Students will be able to perform E-Banking , E-Marketing,  E-Learning , E-Shopping.

Academic activities:

1.      Very good teaching and lab facilities.

2.      Regular slip tests and seminars are being conducted.

3.      Students are continuously assessed by group discussions and Quiz programs are also conducted.

5.     Regarding academic results, the students of B.Com (CA) and B.Com (CS) were able to achieve very good results under  able guidance of the faculty. Some of them are admitted in various PG Courses and other got Employment opportunities.

6.      Certificate courses were conducted to the students.
