Historical Background of NSS at the College

The National Service Scheme at Pithapur Rajah’s Government College (Autonomous), Kakinada has been functioning as an integral part of the institution’s extension and outreach initiatives. Since its inception, the NSS unit has continuously worked towards translating the ideals of education with social commitment into action by actively engaging students in community-oriented programmes.

All units are very active and participating in all college events, and conducting regular activities, Special Camps, and Mega Camps years.

This College has Four NSS Units. In each unit, there are total 100 volunteers (400 total). The college ensures inclusive participation of students from different disciplines, backgrounds, and genders.
