Greetings to all!

It is a great honour and privilege to serve as the Principal of Pithapur Rajah’s Government College (Autonomous), Kakinada, an institution with a distinguished legacy of academic excellence and service to society. I am delighted to be associated with this prestigious institution and to contribute to its continued growth and development.

I firmly believe that quality education is the foundation for individual progress and social transformation. Our responsibility as an educational institution extends beyond imparting academic knowledge; we must nurture our students in all aspects of their development and prepare them to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world with confidence, competence, and integrity.

Our students, many of whom come from diverse and rural backgrounds, possess immense potential, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn. With the dedicated efforts of our teaching and non-teaching staff, we strive to provide them with a supportive academic environment, encourage innovation and critical thinking, and introduce them to emerging trends in education, science, technology, and society.

The continued support and cooperation of our alumni, parents, well-wishers, and other stakeholders play a vital role in strengthening the institution. By working together with a shared vision and commitment, I am confident that we can further enhance the academic standards, infrastructure, research culture, and overall development of the college.

I look forward to contributing my best efforts, along with the entire college community, to uphold the rich traditions of this institution and lead Pithapur Rajah’s Government College (Autonomous), Kakinada towards greater heights of excellence and recognition.

Dr. M. V. K. Mehar, M.Sc., Ph.D.
