1. Qualified (CSIRJRFNET,ICMRJRF) permanent faculty, recipient of SRFP(SummerResearchFellowshipProgramme) from Indian academy of science,performed at Indian Statistical Institute Kolkatta.
2. High Pass percentage sincethe establishment of the department.
3. Own departmental library with large number of books.
4. Specialclasses for competitive exam coaching.
5. Many of the students are perusing the higher education in various states and central universities like HCU, PCU etc.,

• As it is a research oriented programme,there are plenty of opportunities for students who clear CSIR,DBT,ICMR,NET examinations
• In addition to the research field there are number of opportunities in academics & industries for P.G. Students.
