Economics Strengths and Achievements

Strengths

  • A mix of young and experienced faculty makes the department very unique and strong
  • Apart from the central library, Department of Economics has maintaining separate catalogue of books in the department itself where students can access each and every resource and students can make issue of those books also.

Achievements

  • Many students pursuing in the higher education in many reputed universities in the subject field of Economics
  • A student of Economics named B.Kusaraju has cleared UGC NET (JRF) in Economics in 2021 and pursuing his phd in Acharya Nagarjuna University(ANU), Guntur
  • Students of Economics won the state first prize in the quiz conducted by NSSO, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation(MoSPI) in 2022 at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.
